Pipe Fraternity of Bydgoszcz posted on its website an interesting article, concerning among others our product – eco-ashtrays.

The Parliamentary Committee on the Harassment of Smokers has come up with another idea, unique in its simplicity. This time, as part of a campaign to promote culture among the citizens of our country, our parliamentary experts have decided to impose fines on smokers who, through absent-mindedness or sheer lack of personal manners, shake the ashes off a cigarette in a public place. This reprehensible act will be punished with a fine of 500 PLN. An additional 500 PLN will be given for disposing of cigarette butts in a place other than a rubbish bin. It is planned to employ additional City Guard units for this action.

There was an immediate uproar among smokers. The Ombudsman demanded an explanation, and smokers in our country started to organise themselves in associations, preparing for a legal counter-offensive. Unofficially, there is talk of nationwide public protests.

The incident took place at a government press spokesman conference. After asking the journalist„Is it true that the Government is not concerned with promoting culture, but with boosting the state budget and continuing the financial assistance to Greece?” a spokesman replied „The questions are biased” and left the meeting.

This time, however, smoking citizens of our country will not be left at the “mercy of fate”. A company known for its products, known for producing matches Wołoszyn, in anticipation of the Government’s actions, has introduced on the market Eko-popielniczki. For a few zlotys, smokers get the opportunity to avoid draconian tickets and be accused of lack of culture. A spokesman for the company declared that “ … this time the smoking community will be prepared for another absurd recipe “.
